Human Resource branding revolves around what current, future or potential employees think regarding the organization as their employer. Just link the brand shows an image to the customer, the organization creates an image in the employee’s mind as an employer. An organization is required to building a really good HR branding in order to attract talented potential candidates. Meanwhile, organizations with poor HR branding will lose the best potential candidates. (Thekeepitsimple, 2021)

Maintaining an HR branding team is a good method for the company to showcase the packages, benefits and facilities which will be given to employees. So, that the employees or potential employees can analyze the advantages of working in the company. (Thekeepitsimple, 2021)

2. What is Employee Branding in HR?

Employee Branding in HR can be considered as an indirect method of HR Branding. This is the process of where the employees will project the culture and values of the company themselves. This process takes place from mouth-to-mouth marketing, social media, and social advocacy. (Thekeepitsimple, 2021)

3. What is Employer Branding?

Employer branding can be considered as the process to manage and influence the organizational brand image among the following: (Thekeepitsimple, 2021)

  • Employees.
  • Job Seekers.
  • Shareholders.

Generally, Employer Branding can be identified as the organizational reputation in the eyes of employees and job seekers. (Thekeepitsimple, 2021)

Employer branding is not produced or owned by the organization, since the HR branding is majorly dependent on the mindset and action of the employees. (Thekeepitsimple, 2021)

4. Tips of Creating an HR Branding Strategy

There are many factors that are needed for making a well-developed strategy for HR branding. The following are some factors that need to be taken into account when making any sort of strategy for HR branding: (Prevue, 2014)

  • Understanding current employees.
  • Development of organizational values.
  • Implement brand into the Recruitment Process.

5. Steps to Develop an Employer Branding Strategy

Before getting started, it is imperative to note a strategy for employer branding will not be suitable for a small organization or startup with a very few employees that is not looking to recruit much any time soon. (Jay, n.d.)

However, if the company has 50 or more employees, it is a good opportunity to initiate the development of the strategy for Employer Branding for the organization. The company is large (500+ employees), there should already be a strong strategy implemented, monitored and improved upon. So, if your organization does not have a strategy, it is the best time to initiate the development of a strategy.   • Review the talent acquisition process.

HR branding cannot be done overnight. It will take many years for an organization to build up their brand as a good employer. Human resource branding indirectly affects employee branding. The process through which workers reflect the values and culture of the company is referred to as employee branding in the HR field.
    It is a covert branding strategy that has an impact on both the company and the employer. The HR department uses social media, word-of-mouth advertising, and social advocacy to build employee brands.
