Strategic recruitment is basically hiring the best with the use of dedicated strategies. Most organizations do not invest time in this as it may sometimes be irrelevant. However, research proves otherwise. (Verma, n.d.)

According to a Survey done by Harris Poll, a wrong recruitment cost the hiring organization around $14900. This is the reason organizations require to be strategic with recruitment to ensure they do not make incorrect decisions when hiring. (Verma, n.d.)

Once the organization has identified a suitable candidate, it will assist the organization achieve objectives and set new ones going forward. (Verma, n.d.)

This is the search for suitable candidates with the assistance of three factors including skilled selling, employer branding and recruitment marketing. This can be considered as a recruitment with a focus on marketing strategy for obtaining the most suitable candidates for the organization in order to compete with the ever-changing market conditions. (Verma, n.d.)

3. Role of Strategic Recruitment

The process for recruitment takes a long time and is costly. It is imperative to ensure the success of the process for recruiting by incorporating practices for Strategic Recruitment. With this, the organization will be able to find the most suitable person for the organization. (Verma, n.d.)

The goal to find the most suitable candidate for the organization depends on three factors. These factors are employer branding, targeted selling and recruitment driven marketing. (Verma, n.d.)

Strategic Recruitment will also include having the process for hiring inline with business objectives. Also, it will help the company to ensure the standard of the job opportunities for all the employees. (Verma, n.d.)

4. Importance of Strategic Recruitment

Most organizations invest a lot of time in order to recruit the most suitable candidate. After the recruitment, the organization will spend on resources for training them to work efficiently within the organization. (Verma, n.d.)

This is very costly; therefore, strategic recruitment is especially important in order to ensure it is worth the investment. The following are advantages that makes Strategic Recruitment a requirement for the organization: (Verma, n.d.)

  • Emphasize on the candidate.

  3. Hi good details, It is important that recruitment be viewed strategically and that it reflect the organization’s business objectives and culture. Strategic management helps to get the good talent to the position, however not all the talent people are having ability to use the talent.
